WHAT I LOOK FORWARD TO AT THE NEW CENTER

Who else is looking forward to the new Center? It holds new promises and opportunities for staff and members alike, it will be a big step forward for all of us. In this post, I’ll talk about what I am looking forward to seeing in the new center, and I am sure some of you mare share a similar sentiment.

One of the new changes I am looking forward to in the new center is more space that will this give us all more breathing room.  As an intern in the current space, I’m often right-on-top of other interns and having to move from desk to desk to accommodate our limited space. It gives us a feeling of not having enough room to breathe. The new Center will have space for us to breathe, store our belongs, have dedicated computers and provides several rooms to conduct our one-on-one work as well as team meetings.

We will be going from two to ten rooms, plus individual offices for staff, in our transition to the new Center.  These rooms, include rooms for staff and interns to meet with members, exercise, a multi-purpose, health & wellness rooms, acoustically crafted music room, and a computer lab.

While we eagerly await this transition the process has experienced several delays.  We are expecting to open the new Center in the spring. I am looking forward to seeing all of you there!
